Nobody Likes A Price Increase!

Nobody Likes A Price Increase Nobody Likes A Price Increase!Since Church Community Builder implemented their recent price change, I’ve fielded a number of questions from readers, especially those who became customers of Church Community Builder as a result of reading something about them here on Executive Pastor Online.

Nobody likes a price increase. Right?

Unfortunately, though, as time goes on businesses are forced to adjust their pricing structures as the market dictates. Coming out of the corporate world as I have, I understand that the bottom line is … over time the cost to operate increases and, along with a solid operating cost reduction program, a company will occasionally have to charge more for their product.

With this said, though, we as customers always have a choice. We can continue to do business with a company or choose to go elsewhere, if we believe we can get the same (or even better) product for less money elsewhere.

When it comes to Church Community Builder, I would say their overall product offering is still the best thing going! Let me say this another way. Church Community Builders’s web-based church management software is “a bargain at twice the price!”

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting they double their prices icon smile Nobody Likes A Price Increase! . I’m just saying that even with their recent price changes, they are still by far the best thing going. At least that’s my opinion.

Believe me, I get it. As a church leader I view a price increase very seriously, and I do everything I can to avoid them. But, here’s the deal. It’s important that we don’t only focus on price. In fact, we should always focus on the “value proposition.” What value does the product bring? When I look at what our church does, thanks to Church Community Builder, I am very satisfied. Yes, very satisfied despite the recent price changes.

Church Community Builder is still the best thing going. For the value the application brings, in terms of benefit to the church and its ability to accomplish the mission, what we pay is still a bargain when compared to other similar products.

If you are a Church Community Builder customer and you have more questions about their recent price changes, I encourage you to contact them. Check out their website. I’ve also recently found some discussion on their blog.

So, what do you think? Am I missing something? Leave a comment and get the conversation started!
